Award-winning contemporary circus company, NoFit State, return to Wales Millennium Centre this spring with their new awe-inspiring show, BIANCO. The show will run for four nights only from Wednesday 1 May to Saturday 4 May 2013.

As a Cardiff-based company, NoFit State is no stranger to Wales Millennium Centre. The company has previously performed to packed houses in their eye-catching silver big top on the Oval Basin, but this year, for the first time, they will take to the Donald Gordon stage.

NoFit State is renowned for its dazzling and dramatic brand of contemporary circus, and BIANCO does not disappoint. This year, audiences will be invited to stand on the main stage for a promenade performance, where they’ll be joined by the performers and taken on a journey of unexpected transformation, encountering the many characters within.

Conrad Lynch, Artistic Director at Wales Millennium Centre says, “We are constantly trying to explore alternative ways of enhancing audiences experiences here at the Centre and I believe offering a promenade performance on stage with the performers does just that. We’ve been working closely with NoFit State for a number of years now and I’m delighted that as one of our Associated Companies we can this time welcome them inside the Centre!”

NoFit State Creative Producer, Tom Rack, says: “It’s great to be playing in our home town. We are really excited to have the opportunity to give our audiences something different by putting our show on the main stage. It’s going to be bigger, better, and more crazy than ever before!”

Developed in 2012 as a co-production with the Eden Project in Cornwall, BIANCO will be re-incarnated for the London Roundhouse and Wales Millennium Centre before being transformed for the company’s big top for an extensive tour of the UK.

The globally acclaimed and multi award-winning Cardiff-based contemporary circus company NoFit State Circus are about to visit Pembrokeshire as part of their summer 2013 UK tour with their new dazzling and awe-inspiring show, BIANCO.

Fresh from wild successes at London, Brighton and Bristol, BIANCO will be performed inside NoFit State’s unique silver spaceship big top at Bluestone National Park Resort near Narberth from Saturday 28th June to Sunday 6th July. NoFit State’s visit to Pembrokeshire is one of just three appearances in Wales for the show which has had critics and audiences raving; Cardiff’s Buzz magazine said "I have never seen such a spectacular, awe-inspiring show… it just oozed excitement and unadulterated thrill" whilst The Guardian praised the show’s "breathtaking grace ... a joyful, unashamed pleasure."

BIANCO is an immersive promenade experience that takes place above, behind and all around a moving and standing audience. With a constantly evolving environment and an intoxicating soundtrack performed by a live band, BIANCO invites the audience to experience the NoFit State performers’ world up close. Audiences will enjoy the incredible thrill of witnessing jaw-dropping skills and untamed elegance as NoFit State’s fantastic international world-class cast of physical circus stars perform remarkable feats in close proximity.

NoFit State Creative Producer, Tom Rack, says: “We are delighted to be returning to Pembrokeshire and to be visiting Bluestone resort with BIANCO. I’m sure that our audiences here, both old and new, will love this fresh spectacle of circus mayhem”

BIANCO is presented in association with a local partnership of Theatr Mwldan, Torch Theatre, and Span Arts, and comes hot from a sell out run at London’s Roundhouse.

BIANCO will be performed at Bluestone at 7.30pm on June 28th, 29th and July 2nd – 6th, plus afternoon performances at 2.00pm on 29th June and 6th July, and at 3.30pm on 30th June.
