NoFit State Circus have a fantastic international reputation as one of the the world’s leading contemporary circus companies. Usually found performing in a Big Top, their new show will invade Theatr Mwldan, Cardigan for three performances on Friday 10th Feb (7pm), and Saturday 11 February at 2pm and 7pm where they will transform the stage into a parallel world of upside-down jugglers, infinite wire walkers and aerial acrobats – a place where extraordinary is everyday, surprises are everywhere and weird is wonderful.
NoFit State Circus first teamed up with National Theatre Wales to make Mundo Paralelo in February 2011, with Serbian director Mladen Materic and 11 circus artists from all over the world. Since then, the show toured France in October 2011, and will appear at the London International Mime Festival in January 2012, before returning to Wales for its three-venue tour.
An upside-down juggler; an infinite wire-walker; spectacular swinging trapeze; magicians; slackropes; hulahoops; aerial rope and spiral artists artists perform alongside a vivid soundscape, telling unique inter-weaving stories. Mundo Paralelo takes its audience on an exploratory journey, shattering preconceptions about circus, and leaping from world to world to reach the most complicated one of all; our own.
