Biography

Gina Griffin (fiddler) has worked as a professional musician for over 20 years. She is best known for her live improvisational violin/singing style, which can be heard on countless recordings. She’s worked for XTC and with the Discovery Channel; played with Nigel Kennedy, the Moonflowers, and with Rita Lynch, and is very prominent on the music scene. She can also be heard on The Blessing’s debut album, Jazz album of 2008. For many years Gina worked in France for the traditional Ball Musette.
Her playing styles range through jazz, rock, folk and Irish, often delivered with an individual gypsy flair.
